Well last week was tough at work. I've been so tired all of last week, my own fault of course. Going to bed after midnight and getting up at 5am don't mix very well. Been napping for 30 mins or so in the day but that doesn't work as it makes me not tired in the evening then going to sleep late and thus being tired the next day (it's a vicious circle). So today and yesterday i've not been in a mood to do anything, made a few tags and did my jobby stuff of course, just been working from my bed (love this laptop for that lol).

Last Monday i finally found a phone # to call about self-employment so am now almost official...just waiting for them to send me the forms to send off. Nearly a week now but then maybe that's to do with the Royal Mail strikes? I dunno...guess i'll have to call again in a few days. Anyway, once everything is properly done i'm handing my notice in! After that phone call, which took about 3 mins, i felt so positive about my future and i'm actually looking forward for once in my life. Why did i wait so long?

Saturday is starting to loom over my head now in a 'Here it comes - brace yourself' kind of way. I don't like this getting old thing. There was a guy on X-Factor (i only saw the 1st week!) who instead of being 41 said he was 30-11 (thirty eleven). And i like that. So i'll be 20-14 in 2 days lol.

Looks like i won't be going to London either, Friday tomorrow and well...i can't be bothered and also it's not much fun by yourself. Perhaps if things work with WW i'll drag him to the Tate Modern (i really wanna go there).

I've also been doing a few doodles and thrown paint at them. I was gonna show them online but as is the norm...i put them in the bin where they belong. I should just stick to tags.

Well hello LJ...tut tut tut it's been a while since i was last here. Knee is much better, i woke up the day after that post and the pain was gone. God knows what was wrong with it. Fecking thing!!

Well...i'm here with news!
Last night i was in WW chat and a local guy who i've chatted with before was there. He works for an American company and is due to go over there on Thursday. He'll be back in December and it looks like we'll be meeting up! So last night i went to bed a bit on the happy side. Dreamt we were in bed together...not a naughty dream tho! We were just chatting and well yea we were nakkie as well lol.
And then the oddest thing happened, he changed into someone else. In the dream he (WW Guy) asked me if i loved him and i hesitated and his face turned to other guy and he asked, this time the answer was immediate.

Damn it, I'M SO FUCKED UP.

OMG...My knee is killing me!! I've no idea why maybe it's the actual joint or maybe i've worn away the cartilage over years of standing up & carrying all this weight. Pah! And i only lost 1lb last week. It only started hurting a couple of hours ago. Maybe it'll be ok when i wake up...i hope so, don't know how long i can stand this pain for.

Also had a thought while at work. In my last few posts I keep moaning about being unsure about quitting work, well i noticed it's only when i'm not at work that the doubts creep in while i'm at work (and essp today) i cant wait to leave. So i am leaving.

Well i have one more week of work then one week off during which i shall write out my notice and hand it in. Looking forward to it but cant help but question if i'm doing the right thing...i just wish i could make my mind up! The closer to D-Day i get the more nervy about it i'm getting. I think i need someone to tell me i'm doing the right thing, Mum just keeps on pressing my buttons...

I've weighted up the pros and cons and the pros for leaving far out weigh the cons so lets all shout at me for being an idiot and just DO IT! Besides...i'm boring myself by going on about it.

And on my week off i'm planning a day trip to London...well when i say 'planning' i mean i'm going but not planned what to do/where to go yet LOL
I really fancy seeing the Tate Modern tho, so guess i'll have an hour or two in there. I will not be shopping tho...i'm not much of a girlie girl, i can not stand shopping!! I get all my crap online LOL

Well guess i should head to bed...i had the most amazing dream last night. I'd won the lottery (it was the £85 million) and gave some to a guy friend i know to pay his mortgage and that made me happy.

I wish dreams were real and real were nightmares.

well folks who past this way it's gone midnight here & i have to be up at 5am for work. So never a better time to start writing on live journal lol

i think i may be going through a mid-life crisis. i'm 33 so guess i'll be popping my clogs at 66 (if i make it that long of course).

I've hated my job for ages but just got on with it. y'know..turn up do it and fuck off home again. But over the past 3 or 4 years it's just been getting worse and worse. I used to do alot there, stocking up, booking the papers & mags in, doing orders, cashing the tills up etc so i was always doing something. But these past 3/4 years different managers have come in and gone out again and i find myself just stuck behind the till bored out of my tiny lil mind. so i've decided to go. i've been there since i left school in 92, and altho it was just a weekend job for the first couple of years while i was at college (altho i dropped out after a few months - thats another story) it's been the only job i've ever had. The prospect of writing out my CV is a bit daunting as there will be fuck all to write on it lol.
But i've had enough of it in that nasty lil shop...the junkies, wineos, shoplifters, forced to do paper rounds, PITA customers who moan about everything and anything (essp when it has nuthing to do with me) has got me down more and more everyday. If you come home and cry because of it then i'll take that as a sign.

I have 2 weeks hols coming up (1 end of sept & 1 begining of Dec). So i shall write my notice out during 1st hols and work untill the week before xmas. At least i'll have xmas & new year off for the first time in 17 years...even if it is always shit anyway lol

I have some webby work i get paid to do to keep me going, plus savings. My mum is of course shooting my dreams down again, she's going to get me an application form for Asda. She makes a habbit of doing that too.

oh well...almost 12.30am now. Here's to another week of feeling tired and pissed off - yay!!

Moving!!

Hi all...
I've not been over here for a while due to just being busy & tired so here's what's been happening (or not happening) in Claire Land™.

A few weeks ago i totally lost it at work. Standing behind the till serving customers i balled like a baby LOL. I'm LOLing now...
So i just told them it was just PMT (always a good excuse for tears that one) and it partly was anyway ;)
I'm just so getting annoyed at everything there now. Our new area manager keeps making digs at how we have to be more vigilant about shoplifters like i'm the one letting them walk out the door. Then the hot food we sell...all MY fault it's not selling. Nothing to do with the fact we are next door to a bakery, we have a Co-Op over the road, about a dozen or so food retailers in the same street, oh and the hot food counter is stuck in a lil corner of the shop and hard to see. We've been selling it for just over a year now and i still get customers who come in everyday saying ' oh, i didn't know you did hot food'. Nope...all my fault of course. Him and Mary are just the dream team...in hell!

But things may be looking up!
My Dad is from Dorset and his Gran (my great-grandma) left him her bungalow there. This was about 15 years ago and since then he's been going back & forth from here to there to do it up. My parents have always said that they'll sell this place in Southampton and move down there, us kids have always gone...nooooooooooooooo!! LOL, We nick-named the place Sleepy Hollow (this was before the movie came out) coz it's a creepy old place where all the old folks live. But Mum mentioned yesterday that the guy who owns the house next to the and i really wanna go now bungalow is gonna sell his. So Mum & Dad wanna buy his place (which is already done up nicely) and then we can live there, sell this place and do up the old bungalow and possibly rent it out or re-sell it. Hard times for the housing market i know but the minute Mum said it, it was such a huge relief! Like a huge weight being taken off my shoulders.

Happy happy joy joy!!

Oh and things are going so slowly with new man too...more about that another time.

Almost Christmas!!
And not much shopping done LOL
I got all my pals their goodies and everything sent off...man, the postage cost more than the gifts LOL!

I spent all of last weekend avoiding emails, i did peek a little bit but for the main part i was in bed watching tv and crying. I love Christmas but it always sucks, tv dramas, comedies, movies etc all about how happy people are...couples urghhh....couples. Christmas isn't nice for us singles lol. So i guess Monday evening i was feeling better but i still need to clear my email out. Here's hoping i do it by 2008! I did manage to get some snags up at www.midnightcelebrations.com (the 'perks' of my mania lol).

So...i'm gonna try and get started on the inbox now. Get a bit of dinner and watch some tv (no sobbing tho).

Well hello again...thought it was time for an update for some odd reason.

It's been mad busy over at CILM. Making stuffies for the snag site and the odd tag for the newsletter (new one coming up later tonight). I've also got my 2nd html class to do, i was hoping to do it tomorrow but we'll see! LOL. And also i'm working on something with another site, but more about that once it's all up and running! ;-)

Speaking of MySpace comment graphics...i see today (ok, now it's yesterday) that Hicker Chit are now SELLING tags for 99c a time. Just when you think they couldn't get any lower they do! How and more importantly, WHY people still buy from them is beyond me! Just remembering all the fuss over the change in their TOU so they could do this and the so-called boycott is just a joke. I see the same people who said they would never buy from them again using the new Garv's and others for tag offers in the few groups i'm in and just makes me wonder if the PSP community is full of people with no morals at all (and i thought I was bad!!).
I can't think why anyone would pay for these tags when you can get thousands of images/tags for free. And the likeyhood that these tags will end up getting ripped once they are posted somewhere doesn't seem to have crossed what's left of their minds at all. Anything for a quick buck (I'm thinking that's their motto). It just saddens me to see these artists getting ripped off like this :(

A little bit of good news tho! Barb Jensen is finally letting us use her XXX rated tubes!! So i'll go get them now - hurrah!! I wont link to them coz she's a bit funny about people seeing them but you can email her and beg for a link LOL

Thought it was about time i wrote something over here LOL

OMG...I had the shock of me life Friday! I got an email from Yahoo saying Yahoo Photos is closing and going to Flicker in Oct and any photos stored will be lost forever. So, i go to see if i have anything there. Didn't think i did but i'm anal about that LOL
I found some of my old porn pics hahahahaha!! And well, being a Friday night and me not having work in the morning i went off to some old haunts of mine and posted a few!!
I haven't been back to see what comments i got but i got emails to say people had sent me messages *giggles* it's just like the olden days!
They're not tooooo graphic, well a few are but i didn't post them (yet) ;-) Most are just boobie shots.

So anyway *ahem*

For a few months now, actually thinking about it, it's about a year i'd guess at maybe more, i've been thinking about doing web design. I did a basic html course back in April/May and i'm gonna sign-up for the next steps tomorrow (meant to do it today but been busy and now tis bedtime).
I got asked to do a banner for an artist over on MySpace and he asked how much i charged! LOL I'm doing it for free coz he's a friend but that got me thinking...Hey, there be monies in this lark - i'm in!! So next week while i have my week off i'm going to look into it more. Sure beats going into the fooking shop at 6am everyday! LOL I've made stuffies for others as well and it's like the penny finally dropped!

When the ads on our website are clicked CILM will receive monthly income. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be honest with your clicks of the advertisements on our new website. We need to receive compensation from these ads in order to keep the sponsorship program going however if the ads are abused the integrity of the program will be in jeopardy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Beginning December 1, 2007, CILM will sponsor at least 20 people every month to receive a new license and a package of their choice from us. Heya

My Dad took my big ol monitor away today. Nothing wrong with it, just it gets really hot up in my room in the summer so he thought it might cool the room down because it uses alot of power.
He's replaced it with a flat screen one that he had spare.
To early to say if it's made any difference but i really, really hate this flat screen one. I've fumbled around with the settings and i can not get rid of the pixel look!
It's awful...everything looks like a really badly made animated tag, y'know when it's been saved in low quality resoultion :(
Anyone use a flat screen one here? There not all like that are they?

hi readers,
well these past couple of days i've been in a funk. Right now it's just gone 6pm and i have to get a tut challenge sorted for DBA and i've spent the past 30 mins looking around tut sites for one and they're either too easy or too hard or you need to BUY a scrap kit. Fuck dat chit. Maybe it's just me, but with my tuts if i use scrappers stuff i'll use the freebies so everyone can do the tut! urghh...
I've got till 8pm then Big Brothers on and then i'm going to bed.
Monday i have a tag to make for a new artist (w00t!) at CILM to go in the newsletter...cant say who of course but i have a yummy nurse tube!! And thats why i'm leaving it till tomorrow, hopefully funkdom will be gone and i can get stuffies done!
Getting really fed up with these joke emails coming into PSP/Tag groups too, i emailed the mods in CILM and asked if they could do something but what can they do without sounding mean and i know what they mean coz i sound mean asking...i told them it's ok i was in a funk last nite and lost the plot LOL. Ended up going to bed at 10 last nite so i was up early today, managed to read 2 more chapters of Harry Potter. Just a shame i'm still stuck on book 5, my mum got me book 7 yesterday at Asda for a cool £5 :) So now i gotta get book 6 :D

Actually, I think i might just leave the tut challenge this week...it's only Julie, Mieneke, Paully & me that post in there regularly. I'm kinda thinking what the point is of keeping that group going now that the yahoo group is rocking again :/

Oh, yesterday i spent the late morning/afternoon cleaning! Gee that's so much fun - NOT! LOL. We're getting the Sky+ box fitted downstairs which means i get the old box in my room...so hence the cleaning. Sky man is coming on Weds. Which is good coz my Freeview box has just about had it.

Anyhooo...i think i'll just log off and read some more Harry, might lift my mood a wee bit.

Thought i should do some kind of update seeing as i haven't posted for a bit.
I got my Amano Jyaku commission done - one helluva sexy nurse of course LOL

I 'broke-up' with my fuck buddy, well actually did that about a month or so ago but my updates are pretty lame LOL
So i guess that means i'm gonna have to be extra bad online now to make up for the lack of real sex i'm not getting anymore....oh woe is me!!
Truth is, i was never comfortable with seeing him. He has a g/f which i knew before hand and always felt like shite seeing him. So anyways...it's off now and i've had enough of men with g/f's. It aint right.
